Customer Reviews

Very nice for $9.00 Sanoxy Tablet keyboard folio review:Good feel to the faux leather - not slippery. The stitching looks nice, no stray threads hanging.IMHO the magnets could be a bit stronger, but I haven't experienced a problem w/ it yet. When it's closed, it stays closed. I Am using it for a coby 7" MID7065-8 tab and it works good. The retainer is tension loaded to hold the tablet(two on bottom , 1 adjustable on top), but when it is closed, if you tap the folio against your hand, it will slide out. I fixed this by adhering three pieces of double sided tape to the back of the tablet so it was evenly supported. Problem solved. The padding of the folio is thick enough to protect it from casual drops. I have added some high density foam (1/8" thick Bramec) to the folio below the keypad so the standoff is raised a bit higher. A strong impact on the keyboard side may push it into the screen of the tablet. You will need a female USB to male Micro USB connector to use the keypad with any tablet.I am still waiting on mine so I cannot review how good the keyboard is although I like the feel/tension of the buttons. The keyboard is a full 8" wide & standard QWERTY, so if you have small hands, it should be OK. I'm used to an 11 1/2" keyboard. The kickstand works great and positions the tablet at a comfortable viewing angle. The scribe that comes w/ it is plastic, not felt tip, which for my capacitive touch-screen is useless, but I will be using the scribe retainer to hold a pen so it worksout for me :-) You also have to watch that you don't pinch the USB plug when you fold it up. Those are about the onlybad things I can say about this product. The quality is good enough to be used at work and look nice. In a professional environment(Lawyers, Business Professionals, etc) quit being a tight-wad and get yourself a leather folio, you make enough money to getsomething really nice. The description of the product on amazon is accurate and the other reviews do mention that thetablet slides within the case, but for the price, you can't go wrong, even if you never use the keyboard. For the ladies, total length on the folio is 9", width is 6", thickness is 1 1/2" w/ the mods that I've done to mine,so it should fit in a standard size purse.I only rated this product at 4 stars because I cannot test the keyboard (my oversight) until I get an adapter, plus I modified mineto the way I was comfortable w/ it. It wasn't designed for my Tablet, but it works nicely. In summary: For 9 dollars and a couple of mods, it serves its purpose and should protect your tablet from everyday bumps andbruises & look nice at the same time. I would recommend this product. 4Mine's perfect! A little annoyed that the price is down like $5 since I ordered, but that's Amazon for you. When I went to Wal-Mart and Best Buy looking for a plain tablet cover, the cheapest was 2-3 times as much as this one and it did nothing! I knew I at least wanted a kick stand and for this price, the keyboard was just a free bonus, so I wouldn't care if it hadn't worked or stopped working, but it's good! My tablet came with a USB adapter so that was no issue, but they are only a few bucks anyway. It's a ZTO 7in N1+ or something like that and it fits great. The keyboard is awkwardly small, but still better than the touch screen key pad! It kinda turns your tablet into a tiny laptop. It's a decent quality. I am pretty rough on my belongings nowadays and no stitching has come undone. It looks like I paid twice at much, or more. The stylus is just a Nintendo DS stylus, so don't expect to be able to use it on your tablet. I happen to have a DS, so it's not a total loss, but I doubt I ever use it as I have many nicer ones, like most DS users. Don't let that deter you from buying because if you really want a stylus, you can get them for like $1 here on Amazon! That's what I did and mine work great! Had them for about a year and still intact. Minus one star for misleading stylus that you can't use on tablet.UPDATE: A couple months later, the keyboard stopped working. But it's still functions as a cover, though I admittedly don't use it. I still use the micro USB to USB adapter, though! 4SANOXY Slim 7 Inch Faux Leather Keyboard Case for Tabletpc Epad Apad MID Laptop Notebook Usb2.0 Stylus Stand I read a pile of review before buying this along with a 7" android tablet. The tablet fit perfectly in the tabs and you not only get a protective case, but you get a keyboard too.First of all, READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!Don't complain that your device is not compatible with the keyboard when it says that it does not support it in the description. The positive aspects:IT IS 10 BUCKS!!!!It looks niceIncludes a full keyboard, including the lock lights. It works, you type and the keyboard causes the device to display the characters you press. The negatives:If you have fat fingers you might have trouble typing accurately. The stylus appears to be too small to be recognized on the MID tablet, but I find it easier to tap with a finger, and I don't need the stylus to write since that is what the keyboard is for.The biggest question:Will it last?No idea, only had it a week, I will let you know in a monthI will also be interested in if the tabs hold up since I take it out when not typing something, so I will report later if the repeated in and out causes the tabs to weaken.Happy Happy so far, looks like I might be able to leave my laptop home when I go on vacation. 5Using it with my Glanzix Tab GL-7TA Only minor complaints... The keys are small, flat, and close together so and it takes a while to adjust to it. Also the positioning of the keys feel a little shifted to the right from a normal full size keyboard, but otherwise it's worked well for me so far especially for note taking in meetings. The included stylus does not work for my tablet (not sure why they even have it), but instead of throwing it away, I'll give to a kid who has a Nintendo DS as this is perfect for that. None of this is worth knocking a star off for. Before my tablet was not really suitable for note taking with the touch screen keyboard only, but with this I can use it as a substitute "laptop" for word processing if I need to or just want to travel light. The case construction is not bad at all and for this price I actually expected worse. Yes, I know the flip stand is a bit tacky with a ribbon holding it up and the strap hanging in the back, but it works and that's really all I care about. I'd rather have function over aesthetics. I can carry this around like a book and it even has a magnet clip instead of a snap or zipper so I can just flip it open when I prop it on the desk.Considering the tablet and this case I purchased for under $100 total and it does what I need it to do, I'm satisfied with my purchase. For $8 this is definitely worth it. 5Good cost effective option for various 7 inch tablets I will start this by letting you know the tablet I use with the product is an Elocity A7. The A7 is a single touch capacitive Android tablet with a full size USB port. The keyboard case itself isn't the most durable and the construction is slightly on the flimsy side, but I've had mine for close to a month now and haven't had any problems with it. My tablet doesn't fit exactly right in it since it was designed for a different model, but it still sits OK on the bottom hooks when the stand is out. I added a velcro strip to make my tablet more secure and sit firmly in place allowing me to open and close it easily without the device slipping. There are a few keys with slight abnormalities, such as a somewhat sticky numlock key (it doesn't pop back up immediately when pressed) and spacebar only works properly if you hit it almost dead center. With the small form factor of the keyboard, the keys are not all the same size, either. The stylus is for resistive screens (pressure sensitive) only, not capacitive (heat sensitive). Chances are you won't be able to use it unless you have an older or less expensive device. The USB connector is full size. This is fine for many devices (like the A7), but others will require a converter (not included) in order to connect the keyboard. On a size-related note, if your 7 inch tablet has a small bezel, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab, you will probably want a smaller case as there will be a lot of space behind it. There is also no provision for a rear facing camera if you have one, the back of the case is completely solid.Overall, despite the aforementioned minor issues, I'm happy with this case, especially considering its cost (just over $10). It allows me to do much more with my tablet than I could before, particularly since my tab is single touch only. I use it for browsing, chatting, gaming and more. It's not the prettiest or fanciest keyboard case you'll find but if you're looking for something that'll provide a qwerty keyboard for mild to medium use I'd recommend it. 4Works good for Coby 7024 Good looking case for the price, less than 20 bucks with shipping. Sure, it's vinyl, but it's fine. Keyboard works, just plug it into the tablet USB port using the 7024 supplied USB cable (full size to mini, the short one), set tablet to USB host, and away you go. I have the powerbar widget on the home page so I just tap the USB icon to cycle to the proper setting. I use the widget to cycle the wireless on and off too. You'll need to get used to the small keyboard (sized for a 7" tablet, but what did you expect), but it's not as hard to use as I thought it might be.You'll need to bend the metal holding tabs to fit your tablet. It didn't take too much adjustment for my 7024 and holds it firmly.Suggestion: the case has a magnetic clasp that is too weak for the job. I think a Velcro clasp would be better. I plan to put a small piece of Velcro on the clasp. If there are any cons it would be the keyboard USB cable is very fine guage, I'd like to see a more substantial cable so I would'nt have to be so careful with it. 4Perfect for my needs. I bought this to use with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7". After reading reviews, I knew I would have to buy an adapter. I did buy one from Amazon, but it was the wrong size, and an error on my part. I did buy an adapter at Best Buy. It worked perfect the first time I hooked it up. I don't type well with the on screen keyboard. I did not expect much from this item, and thought It's only around $12, what do I have to lose?I don't use it for any work, but for emails to the family or posts on FB, It works perfect for my needs, and I was pleasantly surprised. I also own an Acer Iconia A100 tab. The connector fits, but the keyboard will not connect to this tablet. I am not sure why. I just wanted to point that out. I did buy this for my Samsung, so I am happy with it. I would recommend this to anyone who would want to purchase this for casual use. I am happy with this purchase. 5Slim 7 Inch leather with keyboard case, UPDATE:As written below, I am updating this review on the only problem I encountered with the case. I received a reply back from the seller the same day that I submitted the problem ticket. I received a very quick and acceptable resolution from the sellers (DGMAXX_GROUP).Due to the price of the item, I guess that quality control from the manufacturer might be lacking, but I am very happy with the case features and it meets my needs and expectations. The seller is a Five Star vendor in my my book. -----------------------------------I ordered this item for my 7" COBY 7022. As mentioned by others, the case hold down clips need to be bent a little to hold the tablet in place. The Keyboard worked without any adjustments/settings to the tablet by using the COBY supplied USB cable connected with the case's USB pigtail. The only problem I encountered was the LEDs did not light up at all when using the respective key locks. The lock keys worked fine, but no key corresponding LED light. I have contacted the seller concerning this issue, and I am waiting for a reply. The case for it's price fits the need I was looking for nicely. In fact, the tablet looks very professional in the case, and one would think that it came with the tablet.Overall I am happy with the purchased except for the non-operative LEDs; Hopefully the seller will send me a working replacement. I am giving it 4 stars because everything worked except for the LEDs. I'll update this review when I receive a working replacement. 4This sucked. If someone got it to work, I'd love to know how. This....was pretty bad. I usually get used to something for the sake of the money I spent, but this product is almost too much trouble to keep using. The keys are pretty small. I didn't mind until I tried typing on it - it's hard.Added to that is the n7umber keys. I don't know why, but there are two ways, just like a regular keyboard, to type numbers. The problem is that one of the options overwrites the letters, so you have to press Fn to type U, I, O, P, J, K, L, : and ;, M, and any other key that shares the button with another letter because the white bold one is SECOND, not first. Meaning when you press the M button, you get a zero unless you press the Fn key as well. That, to me, is very irritating because there is already a row of numbers on top. It makes no sense to add this other option and make it the main key typed when pressing the button. The Stylus is useless. I don't know why it's included. The case itself is too big for my 7inch, but I'm sure it works fine with bigger ones.Anyway, yeah. In the end I never got this to work for my tablet. The only way I could test it was connecting it to my laptop. If anyone got this to work on a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, I'd love to know how because I have no idea. It works, I know that. Just not on my tablet. I had the adapter and everything. 2Great case but with a flaw... The tablet case is beautiful and well put together. However, it has a flaw. There is nothing on the left or right side of the case to hold your 7" tablet in place, and there are no corner holders either. So, a thin 7" tablet will slide out easily from the side; I almost dropped my tablet twice when it slid out of the case from the side. It will fit a larger tablet though because the top bracket that holds the tablet is spring loaded and you can extend it to fit a wider tablet. The keyboard is another matter. It is tiny and the keys lie flat. Therefore, if you have large hands, you will have difficulty typing on it, unless you don't mind typing with just a couple of fingers. Also, if your tablet has a micro USB connection, you will need a micro USB to a USB adapter. The wires will stick out of the tablet and it can get in the way if you don't tuck it behind the tablet. One more thing, the keyboard uses your tablet's battery to function. If your tablet has an issue with battery life (like mine), then you'll see your battery life quickly reduced even more when using the keyboard. If it weren't for the missing side holders, I would have given it a 5 star rating. 4
