    Quality and great price. This fits like a dream. My contractor thought this would cost us over 500.00. How happy I was to find it for much less and it's solid. We have been using it for 3 months and have had no issues and my plumber had no complaints installing it. 5Some issues My handle on the hot water didnt fir properly I has an orange o-ring that was proud and that makes the handle loose. Also the one way valve on the sprayer stopped working after a week so I had to remove it. Overall its well made and I'm happy with it 4Kingston Tub Faucet is a Winner Make certain that the spacing between the faucet holes is correct before you order. There are different sizes. That said this really works great. I had a plumber help with the installation of the shut-offs. He said that Kingston Brass was the best, I'd have to agree. The plumber had to leave so I did the rest of the install myself. The drain pipes have to be cut to fit. I used a tubing cutter and filed the edges after the cut. Where the drain fits under the tub I used 3M scotch-brite sanding pads to remove any scale or rust. I got a "drain insert tightening tool" with 4 prongs from Ace hardware just to install the drain. This is a speciality tool that you will need. The drain has a rubber washer that fits under the tube to provide a flexable seal. I used Locktite #2 Form-a-Gasket to adhere this to the tub. I installed the drain from the bottom and the strainer from the top using the 4 prong drain tool form Ace. I used flexible stainless supply lines (hot and cold) from Home Depot and installed the Kingston faucet with no trouble. Worked the first time with no leaks. It's been 3 months now and no problems yet. 5Horrible faucet The cold lever would not turn off, the hose to the handle is completely blocked 1A nice update to a vintage 24 Oil rubbed bronze looks great with my black and white bathroom. I like to mix metals. And it is great with champagne gold 5Nope I bought this in April 2016. It is now February 2019 and I'm searching for a new faucet because this one is horrible. The handles constantly fall off (all 3) & now it is almost impossible to turn the hand shower off...it gets stuck. It was good for about 2 years, but I use this daily to bathe my 3 year old...and it hasn't held up to daily use. 2Missing Parts This has been one huge headache. I ordered this many months ago for a remodel I was working on. Once we got around to the plumber, he said there were parts missing. Apparently, there are 2 parts that mount on the outside of the tub to connect the supply lines too that are not there and he is unable to find them. He also stated that the supply line dimensions aren't standard and can't track them down either. Almost a year into the remodel and still don't have my tub. 1Junk This faucet is junk, it constantly looses its handles and drops off and nicks the tub. No amount of tightening of set screws keeps it constant. The shatterin porcelain handles have to be replaced often. Just plain junk. 1We were able to tweak the compression fitting into a handheld diverter valve enough to get the riser to sit plumb but it isn't the best practice to do so This valve is solid and substantial but the main defect in the specific one we received is that the elbow that goes to the shower or handheld cradle is less than 90 degrees, if using the handheld cradle this would not be noticeable but we were installing an overhead shower riser pipe and had to force it back quite a bit to get a vertical/plumb installation. Another thing I noticed is that the brass is more yellow/gold color than Kingston Brass shower valves I have purchased in previous years, I don't know if the composition of the alloy has changed or it is an artifact of the tarnish protection, but I prefer the older color which is darker, more copper in appearance. We were able to tweak the compression fitting into a handheld diverter valve enough to get the riser to sit plumb but it isn't the best practice to do so. Another thing, the instructions are limited, this valve uses lever handles that secure with an allen head setscrew, you do not use the screws that come attached to the knurled valve stems.You do not and cannot remove the cap that is installed on the handle. The screws on the tips of the valve stems would be used for cross handles in another type of setup. We removed the red and blue indicator O-rings before installation. 4Solid construction, good finish. Very solid construction, straightforward install. I installed it about 2 weeks ago, works great. One unexpected bonus, the water runs almost silently through the assembly, no aeration or chaotic flow means it fill the tub fast and almost silently. To me this is a bonus, since I'm not a fan of lots of noise, and burbling water makes a white noise that means I can't hear anything happening outside of the bathroom. For some, this might be a negative, it does mean that you can't start to fill the tub and walk out of the room only to be reminded that your tub might be overflowing five minutes later when you hear the water splashing into the tub water.Shower head works great. Polished finish is high quality. Very nice product. 5
